Beverley Dawson has been promoted to the position of manager - insurance and claims at CareSuper. Beverley joined the $10b industry fund in 2011 as administration manager and moved into the new role when CareSuper separated its administration and insurance responsibilities.

ANZ Australian chief steps down

ANZ has announced that Philip Chronican is stepping down as CEO Australia to pursue a non-executive career following 32-years' in banking. His successor is current ANZ managing director global commercial banking and board member since October 2014, Mark Whelan.

Nikko Australia MD resigns

Mike Davis, the managing director and country head of Nikko Asset Management in Australia, has resigned after three years in the top job. According to a media report, he will remain at the firm until later in March to assist in the search for his replacement.

Australian Council of Superannuation Investors (ACSI) has announced that chief executive Gordon Hagart is to step down from the role. ACSI has initiated a search process for Hagart's replacement and he has agreed to stay until Easter to facilitate a smooth transfer.
