Sean Hughes has confirmed his appointment as executive manager - legal, risk & compliance for UniSuper. Hughes was the inaugural CEO of New Zealand's Financial Markets Authority from 2010, and previously held senior executive roles at ASIC, NAB and ANZ.

Julie May has departed her marketing and communications role at OneVue to take up the position of editor at financialobserver. May was previously a senior journalist at Morningstar and before that a journalist and editor at Westpac.

Josh Mathews has taken up the role of media and communications manager at wholesale superannuation solutions provider OneVue. Mathews was previously a reporter for PRIME7 News and takes over from Julie May who has departed OneVue for an editorial role at financialobserver.

Mason Willoughby-Thomas has moved into the role of portfolio manager of the Australian Ethical Larger Companies Trust at Australian Ethical. Willoughby-Thomas spent three years at ING Investment Management as a senior equity analyst before joining Australian Ethical in 2012.

The ASX has appointed senior JPMorgan banker Damian Roche to the position of non-executive independent director.
Vision Super appoints independent director
