What are you most looking forward to in your new role?

I am looking forward to working with an amazing and talented group of people at Sunsuper. Most importantly, I am looking forward to working for an organisation that places the utmost importance on its members. Sunsuper is a market leader and one of the fastest growing superfunds in Australia. They have big and exciting plans for the future. So, I am joining the organisation at a very critical time. I am looking forward to the challenge and to make a significant contribution to Sunsuper's future growth and success.

What skill do you think is paramount in working in the financial services industry?

Passion for the industry, strategic skills to succeed in a highly competitive industry, as well as good risk management and risk assessment skills as the industry continues to become more complex and governed by extensive domestic and international regulations.

If you could give advice to someone starting out in the industry what would it be?

Set high standards, have determination, be patient and get a mentor with good people and industry knowledge.

Would you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert? And why?

I am more an extrovert than an introvert. I think it goes with the territory. I spend most of my career working with a lot of people and different organisations in consulting, building businesses, managing relationships and servicing clients. So, being an extrovert would have been a prerequisite for succeeding in these roles.

What was your very first job?
