What are you most looking forward to in your new role?

Making a stronger connection with Australia. The Australian Superannuation and Asset Manager sectors are very dynamic, but not without their challenges.

What skill do you think is paramount in working in the financial services industry?

The ability to listen. No difference [between Aus & HK re this skill] - the world of financial services is global.

What is one of the best pieces of advice you've ever been given?

Be open to change.

Would you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert? And why?

Introvert by nature (though forced to be become more of an extrovert to succeed in financial services).

What was your very first job?

Waiter and factory worker during University. State Street was my first job after graduating from University. I've been at State Street for 25 years.

Do you have a secret skill/hidden talent?

I've been very involved coaching and refereeing mini and youth rugby in HK - but just might prefer football (soccer).
