What are you most looking forward to in the new role?

Contributing to the success of MetLife, playing a leadership role in the function and the broader business as well as the interactions with my international colleagues.

How ill it differ from your previous roles?

Being part of a very successful global business will expose me to other cultures, markets and product lines.

What skill do you think is paramount in being a successful CFO?

The ability to connect with people in order to inspire them to achieve things that were not previously possible or to help them make better decisions though greater understanding. Resilience, patience and a sense of humour are pre-requisites for any CFO.

Would you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert? And why?

Extrovert, aren't all accountants extroverts?

What was your very first job?

It was a part-time job at McDonalds after school and on weekends. I learnt very early the importance of the customer, hygiene and how to minimise waste.

Do you have a secret skill/hidden talent?

Acting.
