What are you most looking forward to in your new role?

I am looking forward to being part of the senior team at Frontier and actively helping to drive the business forward. In particular I am looking forward to helping the firm and clients address the many changes undergoing the superannuation industry at present.

How have your previous roles prepared you for this role?

I have now worked in investment consulting for almost 10 years so have had the opportunity to consult to a range of different clients across various industries. I have also covered investment and manager research across most asset classes, which helps to give me a broad perspective on various issues. My time working in consulting in the UK also brings a different perspective to my work here.

What do you think will be your biggest challenge in the first 12 months?

Once I get through my current challenge of caring for a 5 week old and a toddler, I think my biggest challenge will be working with clients to identify meaningful investment opportunities in the current environment.

Would you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert? And why?

I don't want to sit on the fence but I would say I am somewhere in the middle of the two, with perhaps a tendency to be more extroverted - I'm usually more inclined to work through ideas and issues with others than on my own.

What was your very first job?

Making sandwiches and, I suspect, very bad coffee at a local café. My first "proper job" was at Goldman Sachs in London.

Do you have a secret skill/hidden talent?

Courtesy of my gymnastics training many years ago, I can still manage a backsault and backflip on a trampoline!
