What do you regard as your greatest career achievement?

There are many Business, Marketing & Digital highlights in my career that I am very proud of, however I am most proud of the development of the many individuals within the teams that I participated in.

What skill do you think is paramount in being a successful CFO?

Understanding the customer, the channel, the metrics and the market are still as critical as they have always been.

If you could give advice to someone starting out in the industry what would it be?

The financial services industry is a very dynamic and exciting environment. You need to be flexible, adaptable and have a genuine willingness to embrace & drive change regularly.

Would you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert? And why?

I consider myself both introvert and extrovert. It generally depends on what business objective I am focused on and how we intend to achieve the desired outcomes. I like to listen to others and also internalise some decision making when it is necessary.

What was your very first job?

My first job was a chartered accountant. I then spent time in sales and sales management. The last 20 years in marketing & digital.
