Spaceship Capital has launched two new low-fee investment products - the Spaceship Index Portfolio and Spaceship Universe Portfolio - to complement its Spaceship Super, which is targeted at the millennial market.
The Spaceship Index Portfolio is a passive index fund which invest in 200 of the largest companies in Australia and the world, including the likes of Berkshire Hathaway, Boeing, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Procter & Gamble, Samsung, Toyota, Visa, Walt Disney, Westfield and Woolworths.
Its management fees are 0.05% per annum on balances over $5,000 but it is free for balances of $5,000 or less.
The Spaceship Universe Portfolio is an actively managed fund of 100 shares in Australian and global companies that meet a 'Where the World is Going' criteria. Current holdings include Afterpay, Apple, Baidu, Facebook, Kogan, Netflix, Nvidia, Redbubble, Softbank, Tencent, Tesla, Twitter, Workday, Xero and Zillow.
It has a slightly higher management fee of 0.10% per year on investment balances over $5,000, but is also free for balances of $5,000 or less. It is managed by an investment team led by Jason Sedawie, who previously worked at Platypus Asset Management and Decisive Asset Management.
