MLC Index Plus portfolios

MLC has expanded its current offerings with the launch of the MLC Index Plus portfolios - three actively managed, multi-asset portfolios that provide investors with access to returns from investment markets through a blend of index, enhanced index and active strategies - which Lonsec have rated as 'highly recommended'.

Commenting on the launch, MLC chief investment officer Jonathan Armitage said: "By launching MLC Index Plus in addition to our existing MLC Inflation Plus and MLC Horizon portfolios, we can confidently say that we have solutions to meet a very broad range of customers' needs."

Armitage said that the Lonsec rating highlights that the portfolios are more than just index funds.

"The rating is based on Lonsec's continued high regard for the Fund's investment team, risk management framework, and investment process. In particular, the Fund's capital market research process is viewed as robust and innovative compared to peers," Armitage said.
