BlackRock teams up with NAB Private Wealth

By Penny Pryor

BlackRock has launched three exchange traded funds in collaboration with NAB Private Wealth to provide investors with a simple low-cost investment solution.

The three ETFs are the iShares Balanced ESG ETF (IBAL), the iShares High Growth ESG ETF (IGRO) and the iShares Future Tech Innovators ETF (ITEK).

"We believe these funds present a holistic offering for Australian investors at a compelling price point," head of iShares and index investments at BlackRock Australasia, Jason Collins, said.

"Based on our shared experience with NAB Private Wealth, ESG considerations are a key priority for Australian investors as they seek to build resilience into their portfolios by gaining exposure to sustainability-related opportunities over the long term. Additionally, the rise of millennials and new self-directed investors have given rise to megatrend investing as they seek to take advantage of the transformative growth trends that will reshape how we live and work in the future."

The two ESG ETFs have management fees of 0.22 per cent and the iShares Future Tech Innovators ETF has a management fee of 0.55 per cent.

BlackRock is responsible for setting and reviewing the long-term Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) of the two ESG ETFs and retail investors can access them directly via nabtrade's dedicated ETF Centre.
