BetaShares adds to income ETFs with NASDAQ 100 Yield Maximiser Fund

BetaShares has listed the BetaShares NASDAQ 100 Yield Maximiser Fund which provides investors exposure to the companies in the NASDAQ-100 index along with additional income.

BetaShares says the fund will provide additional income by selling some of the upside share price potential of the portfolio in return for income via a 'buy-write' strategy. This strategy may work well during heightened volatility when BetaShares says the income generated from the sale of call options can be particularly attractive.

BetaShares chief executive officer Alex Vynokur said the fund would meet the demand from those Australian investors who are seeking out equity strategies that deliver attractive, regular income distributions.

"To that end, we are proud to expand our leading "yield maximiser" fund range to include the NASDAQ-100 Yield Maximiser Fund. QMAX will offer investors convenient and cost-effective access to an income strategy that can deliver enhanced yield but also has the potential for some capital appreciation." he said.
