Position: Head of Strategy & Propositions - Zurich Life & Investments
Zurich Australia (Zurich) has confirmed to Industry Moves the departure of Daniel Longden from the role of head of strategy & propositions for Zurich Life & Investments, effective June 2017.
In July 2017, Longden was named as one of 62 new partners to be appointed at KPMG Australia, based in Sydney.
Longden spent 12 months at Zurich and prior to this was head of commercial management at Macquarie Life.
He has 20 years' financial services experience, having previously held senior roles at Asteron, including as chief actuary for Australia & NZ as well as CFO for Australia, before joining Macquarie Life in 2008.
At Zurich, he has been replaced by Tim Howell who was most recently the firm's chief life actuary.
