Ben Davis returns to Zenith

Zenith Investment Partners has welcomed the return of one of its four original partners and senior investment consultants.

After working at the investment research and managed account provider for two decades, Ben Davis wanted some time off.

During those 20 years with Zenith, Davis served as head of research and head of investment consulting.

For a time, he took over product, data and digital as well and also played a key role in developing the firm's investment research and consulting online platform.

Lots happened in the run-up to Davis' departure. After Zenith was acquired by FE Fund Info in 2022, Davis stayed on until May 2023.

"I need a break!" he posted on social media at the time. "I look forward to reconnecting with you all in 2024."

Now, after 12 months away from the industry, he is back as a primary consultant for several of the group's customised managed account client businesses.

Davis will work in the portfolio solutions team alongside investment director, founding partner David Wright, and head of portfolio solutions Steven Tang.

Zenith managing director Jason Huddy said he will further support the growing adviser demand for Zenith's managed account solutions.

"For nearly 20 years, Ben was a respected leader with Zenith ... and well known to many of our clients."

For his part, Davis said he is "genuinely excited" about the growth and evolution of Zenith's managed account offering over the last 12 months ... it's a really interesting time to be joining the team.

"I have very high regard for the broader Zenith business and the leadership team I'll be working alongside. I'm really looking forward to supporting the portfolio solutions team in delivering its range of portfolios to their diverse and growing client base."

Zenith manages close to $5 billion in funds across its managed accounts, including customised and public menu portfolio options.
