Last month, she left Zenith Investment Partners after 13 years as head of research.

This month, she joined Blackwattle Investment Partners as an investment adviser.

BlackWattle managing director and investment chief Michael Skinner said Moncrieff brings over 26 years of distinguished experience in the investment industry.

"Bronwen's appointment marks a significant step forward in our mission to enhance the quality of our investment decision-making and portfolio construction,"

"We are thrilled to welcome Bronwen to our Investment Council," he said, noting her vast experience, research ability and analytical skill.

For more than 25 years, Bronwen has specialised in researching and evaluating investment managers for a wide range of clients.

She started with Zenith as a senior investment analyst in June 2011 before being appointed head of research one year later.

Before Zenith, she was a senior equities analyst at the Future Fund and a research analyst at Lonsec.

She did a nine-year stint at Russell Investments.

She also sits on the boards of Janet Clarke Hall and is a volunteer puppy raiser for Guide Dogs Australia.
