Zenith acquires Heuristic Investment Systems

Zenith Investment Partners has acquired Heuristic Investment Systems.

Founded in 2003, Heuristics has provided investment strategy and asset allocation consultancy to wholesale clients through its proprietary StrategyEngine platform. CEO and director Damien Hennessy will lead the Heuristics team, which will continue to operate as a separate business unit within Zenith. He will report to Zenith CEO David Wright.

"We've known Damien for some time and recognise his unique skills and those of the team in developing and executing on strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies. They'll be an excellent complement to the current suite of services offered to our broadening client base."

Hennessy became a director at Heuristics in 2002 following a decade with HSBC Asset Management as chief investment officer and head of fixed income.
