Yellow Brick Road adds chief financial officer duties to operations chief

Yellow Brick Road Wealth Management (YBR) has appointed Stephen McKenzie as chief financial officer.

McKenzie, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, joined YBR in 2018 as general manager for operations and became chief operations officer late last year. He is responsible for loan processing, customer service, marketing, and broker lifecycle.

In announcing the move on the ASX, the organisation said that McKenzie, "has significant experience in initiating and implementing strategies to grow the P&L of businesses including increasing customers, driving efficiency gains and improved product margins."

Before joining YBR, McKenzie held several roles at Aussie Home Loans including head of sales operations and head of broker and customer services. He also spent more than ten years with Bupa as an auditor and senior finance manager. He was also a senior accountant at EY.
