Yellow Brick Road (YBR) has announced that Tim Brown will be stepping down from his role as chief executive officer - lending, effective 31 December 2016.

Brown joined YBR in 2014, as a result of the acquisition of Vow Financial, where he was formerly CEO. He took on his most recent role with YBR in February 2016 as part of a restructure aligning the leadership of Vow Financial and YBR with the Group's key business units of lending and wealth management.

He has 30 years' experience in the banking and finance industry and has held senior management positions in organisations such as Macquarie Bank, LJ Hooker, Suncorp, Aussie Home Loans and AVCO Finance (now GE Capital).

Brown's role will not be replaced, instead the two existing roles of general manager for the Yellow Brick Road and Vow Financial networks respectively will take on more responsibility for growing and driving productivity in the lending division.

Commenting on his departure, executive chair, Mark Bouris, thanked Brown for his contribution to the company over two years and wished him well for the future.
