Yarra Capital Management has appointed Vito D'Introno as their new chief commercial officer, a new role for the organisation.
D'Introno comes from Challenger where he has held several roles, most recently the head of retail. In that role, D'Introno looked after Challenger's Life and Fidante Retail business divisions. During his tenure he also served as the acting chief executive for the firm's distribution, product, and marketing division.
In his new position, D'Introno will oversee the firm's distribution, marketing, and product development, growing the organisation's presence in the Australian funds management market.
Yarra managing director Dion Hershan said that D'Introno is an extremely exciting hire for Yarra. "With more than 20 years' experience developing new capabilities and building franchises in the domestic market, [Vito] is exactly the right person to take charge of growing the firm's institutional, retail and offshore presence."
D'Introno said he's impressed by Yarra's reputation in domestic and international industry circles. "I look forward to working alongside the senior team to expand Yarra's footprint across the retail and institutional markets."
