Yarra Capital Management has announced the promotions of two of its top distribution executives - Nick Green and Rommel Hacopian.

Nick Green has been elevated to head of institutional distribution from the role of a senior institutional client service representative.

Green has worked at Yarra for six years and before that at the firm's predecessor Goldman Sachs Asset Management Australia for four years.

He was a foundational member of the Yarra business when it opened its doors in January 2017.
Green started his career at Colonial First State.

Meanwhile, Hacopian will lead Yarra's efforts in the intermediary market.

Before joining Yarra in March 2020, Hacopian spent almost 20 years with Challenger, where he helped develop and manage the retail distribution strategy for Challenger Life and the Fidante Boutiques.

Both executives will continue to report to Yarra managing director Edward Eason who commented that they are both strong leaders with deep client relationships.

"With Nick and Rommel heading the firm's client team, supported by a large and growing team and capability set, we remain well placed to continue growing the business," he added.

"They will provide excellent leadership as we further expand Yarra Group's suite of domestic and international equity, fixed income and multi-asset strategies."
