Willis Towers Watson adds Hastings experience to investments team

Willis Towers Watson has appointed former Hastings executive director Colin Atkin to their investments team as senior investment consultant. He'll work primarily within the company's advisory team.

Australian investments director, Martin Goss, said this newly-created role would enhance the business' approach to delivering holistic solutions for clients. "Working across our business, Colin will identify which of our range of service and solutions can best meet our clients' needs," Goss said. "His most recent experience is highly strategic; he worked with organisations to design, implement and sustain enduring business practices of leaders and their teams to protect and accelerate their objectives."

Atkin has held a number of senior roles in his career, including managing director at Hastings Funds Management for nine years, and CEO and portfolio manager for Utilities Trust of Australia and Hastings Diversified Utilties Fund.

Atkin was also a director at Standard & Poor's and banks including ANZ.
