Watermark adds Associate Investment Analyst to team

Watermark Funds Management (Watermark) has confirmed the appointment of Matthew Blumberg to the role of associate investment analyst, effective June 2017.

In this newly-created role, Blumberg will focus on oil and gas, and utilities.

Blumberg recently received his MBA from Yale University. Prior to this, he spent almost five years working as an engineer in the oil and gas space at 2H Offshore Engineering.

Commenting on Watermark's expanding team, chief operating officer, Tim Bolger, said: "Having successfully filled roles for six Sector Heads covering both domestic and global equities with a mix of internal and external candidates, Watermark is in the process of recruiting Associate Investment Analysts to work with each Sector Head. Watermark will look to appoint Associates with specific technical training and experience in respective sectors. Mr Blumberg brings extensive qualifications and experience in the Oil and Gas sector to assist with Watermark's analysis of Basic Industries."
