Warakirri appoints Senior Investment Specialist

Warakirri Asset Management has appointed Peter Best as a senior investment specialist in the firm's agriculture investment team.

Best has 30 years' experience in agriculture, including operating and consulting across various industry segments both domestically and internationally, the firm said in a statement.

He will be joined by fellow new-recruit, Tim Smith, who has been appointed as an agribusiness analyst.

Warakirri managing director, Jim McKay, said: "Warakirri is pleased to announce these appointments, which continue to build on Warakirri's experience and capability in professionally managed agriculture investments."

Best and Smith will report directly to investment manager, agribusiness, Luke Carey.
