WA Super appoints new board director

WA Super has confirmed to Industry Moves the appointment of Colin Cameron as an employer representative director, replacing Jason Buckley whose term ended in June 2018.

As a nominee of Local Government Professionals Australia (WA), Cameron joins the only Western Australian based public offer super fund, with approximately $3.5 billion in FUM and over 60,000 members.

Cameron has previously held senior positions as executive manager, corporate for the City of Swan; director of corporate services with the Town of Bassendean; manager of budgets & systems with Murdoch University; as well as working with State Government Agencies of TAFE International, Central TAFE, Treasury and Homeswest.

Commenting on his appointment, Fabian Ross, WA Super CEO, said: "Colin's background and experience will support us in continuing to help our members achieve their retirement dreams, and we're extremely pleased to have him on board".
