WA Super adds to executive team

WA Super has confirmed to Industry Moves the promotion of Quyen Truong to general manager of advice and distribution, effective April 2018.

Truong, who joined the $3.5 billion fund in June 2017, was most recently head of advice.

Prior to joining WA Super, she held roles with ING Australia, Colonial First State, RI Advice Group, St. Andrew's Australia and CBA.

Commenting on Truong's promotion, WA Super's CEO, Fabian Ross, said: "Quyen is highly qualified with extensive national experience in distribution and business development roles for other financial service industries where she was responsible for both the Western Australian and South Australian market. Our members will benefit from the recent changes in our executive team."

WA Super has also confirmed the promotion of Paul Owen, from his role as general manager of client services, to chief operating officer.
