VicSuper appoints new board Director

VicSuper has announced the appointment of Gabrielle Bell to its board as an employer representative, effective July 2017.

She was nominated to the board of the $19 billion fund by the Victorian Public Sector Commission and replaced former employer director Craig Cook.

Bell is a corporate lawyer specialising in corporate advisory (including corporate governance), mergers and acquisitions and capital markets. She is currently also a director of South East Water Corporation, V/Line Corporation, and director and company secretary of InLife Independent Living.

Commenting on her appointment at VicSuper, CEO, Michael Dundon, said: "Gabrielle's breadth of experience as a Director and a corporate lawyer provides an excellent complement to the skills of the current VicSuper Directors. We look forward to working closely with her as we continue to deliver on our growth agenda, including merger opportunities."

Bell is also a member of the VicSuper investment and merger steering committees.
