VicSuper adds to board

VicSuper has announced the appointment of Patricia Faulkner to its board, effective 1 January 2017.

Faulkner joins as an employer director, replacing Bruce Hartnett, who left the fund in December 2016.

Her career has spanned the senior levels of both the public and private sectors as CEO of large government departments and as a partner at KPMG. Her portfolio of board and advisory roles include: the Ministerial Advisory Committee for the Statewide Services and Infrastructure Plan, Jesuit Social Services; Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman; Public Transport Victoria; St Vincent's Healthcare Australia; Catholic Professional Standards; CEDA; Melbourne Racing Club, and the Melbourne Theatre Company.

In 2008, she was awarded an Order of Australia for her services to Health and Social Policy; and a Centenary Medal in 2002 for services to Public Administration.
