VFMC hires from Australian Unity

Victorian Funds Management Corporation has confirmed that Liam Keegan has returned to the fund as a client account and insights manager.

Keegan joins from Australian Unity, where he worked in several roles for five years, most recently as commercial manager in the wholesale wealth business.

Initially, he worked as a consulting analyst, finance and strategy taking a key role in supporting the business units by delivering strategic initiatives.

Before that, he was a data and analytics consultant responsible for the back-to-front-end solution delivery for investment and trading software integration.

Interestingly, he arrived from VFMC, where he was a portfolio specialist and a senior implementation analyst assisting with portfolio maintenance, including rebalancing and transaction implementation.

Even more notable is that he landed from Australian Unity where he worked as a data and analytics specialist.

Here, he supported the development of investment management tools.

This is when he left to go to VFMC for the first time.

Previous roles before the back and forwards at Australian Unity and VFMC include a fund administrator at Dartmoor Capita and an assistant asset manager at APN Property Group.
