VFMC appoints Warren Lee as Chief Executive Officer

Victorian Funds Management Corporation has announced the appointment of Warren Lee as its new chief executive officer. Lee joins VFMC after more than 15 years with Axa Asia Pacific Holdings Limited, most recently as chief executive officer, Australia & New Zealand.

In announcing the appointment, the Chairman of VFMC, John Fraser, said: "Warren Lee brings a wealth of international and domestic experience in the asset management industry to VFMC. That experience has encompassed a full range of leadership and other roles that are very relevant to VFMC with its multiple stakeholders.

"I am very confident that Warren, along with our experienced and talented executive team, will build upon the very solid investment and operational performance of the past three years.

"I would also like to record my and the Board's appreciation for the terrific contribution made by Justin Pascoe who has been both acting chief executive officer and chief investment officer for the past five months while an extensive search has been undertaken."
