VFMC appoints Executive Manager, Investments

Ezinne Udeh Martinez has confirmed to Industry Moves her promotion to executive manager, investments at Victorian Funds Management Corporation (VFMC).

In this role, reporting directly to chief investment officer (CIO), Russell Clarke, Udeh Martinez will be responsible for the central coordination of all investment-related functions (strategic, planning and operations) for the CIO office, mixing long term projects with the urgency of immediate demands, including technical, strategic and operational activities, along with internal and external stakeholder management and communication.

Udeh Martinez, who has over a decade's experience in asset management, institutional banking, corporate strategy and private equity, previously served as a portfolio strategist with VFMC, having joined the firm in May 2018. Before this, she spent four years at Australia Post Super Scheme, most recently as the $8 billion fund's head of investments.
