Victorian Funds Management Corporation (VFMC) has announced the appointment of James MacKenzie as chair of the VFMC Board. MacKenzie was previously chair of Mirvac Group, co-vice chair of listed mining company Yancoal Australia, chair of Gloucester Coal Ltd, Pacific Brands Limited, the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) and Worksafe Victoria. He has also held executive positions as MD of funds management and insurance at ANZ Banking Group and CEO of Norwich Union Australia and TAC.
He replaces former VFMC chair John Fraser who was appointed secretary to the treasury in January 2015.
