Vertium appoints Portfolio Manager & Equity Analyst

Equity income specialist Vertium Asset Management has announced the appointment of Tomas Vasquez as a portfolio manager and equity analyst, reporting to chief investment officer Jason Teh.

Vasquez, who has over 15 years' experience in equity research, previously spent four years as an equities analyst at Investors Mutual. Before this, he held similar roles at CBA, ABN AMRO and Aspect Huntley (now Morningstar).

In welcoming him to Vertium, Teh said: "Tomas has a proven track record of generating alpha and we are delighted to have him join our team. Vertium aims to deliver a low risk equity income stream to retirees and Tomas has all the right attributes to help us achieve this objective."
