Vasco Trustees hires two execs

Vasco Trustees has made two key hires - a finance chief and a  head of fund services.

First up, the trustee has appointed former ESSS Super finance director Alan Mollison as chief financial officer.

Mollison joins from Alanmel Consulting, where he spent the past five years.

Before that served as a chief financial officer at ESSS Super. MLC, IOOF, and OAMPS Insurance Brokers.

Vasco has also hired Patrick Nyahwo to look after client relations, risk and compliance.
Nyahwo joins from the Jersey-based JTC Group in Jersey, where he was director of fund services for nearly seven years.

"Patrick has had a career in global funds services, having worked in Jersey, Guernsey and Zimbabwe for over 20 years," the trustee said.

Lastly, Frank Wang was recruited five months ago to take over the firm's fund accounting.

Having joined the industry with Vasco in 2019,  Wang has re-joined the business after working for BNP Paribas.

Wang will oversee the fund accounting team.
