Vanguard names multi-asset product lead

Vanguard Investments Australia has appointed one of its investment specialists to a more senior position within the product team.

Vanguard confirmed that Matthew Cho has been promoted to the newly created role of head of multi-asset solutions as the asset manager continues to develop and build out its product suite.

He will report to Ashleigh Montone, Vanguard's head of investment product.

Cho has worked at Vanguard for almost four years, joining from Zenith Investment Partners, where he started as an associate investment analyst before being rapidly promoted to investment analyst.

After three years in the research team, he was elevated to investment consultant.

In that role, he joined the five-member consulting team, retaining close links to the research team in servicing managed accounts and consulting clients.

Before Zenith, Cho was a research analyst at Garnaut Private Wealth, where he helped with portfolio construction and also worked as a client services manager.
