Vanguard Australia has appointed Macquarie's Curt Jacques as its head of risk management.
Jacques will join the organisation in mid-November.
"Curt's appointment further adds to the depth of skills and knowledge of the team at Vanguard Australia as we continue the steady journey of building presence and earning greater trust with more direct investors and financial advisers," said Vanguard Australia managing director Frank Kolimago.
Jacques joins the firm from Macquarie where he spent more than three years in risk roles, beginning in New York as head of risk operations for the Americas. He relocated to Australia in mid-2019 and was named divisional director for the organisation's risk transformation in July. He previously spent more than 14 years with PwC in various systems and risk roles around the finance and banking industries.
