UniSuper, the super fund for the higher education and research sector, has expanded its member and employer experience division with the appointment of Brendan Donoghue as head of customer experience.

Donoghue commenced with the $66 billion fund in April 2018 and a key focus of his role is to reshape the way UniSuper members engage with their superannuation.

In a statement announcing his appointment, chief customer officer, Lee Scales, said: "As engagement with superannuation increases, and UniSuper continues to grow, we are investing to be on the front foot of innovation and user experience. The capability that Brendan is building in his team will sit at the core of UniSuper being a successful, 'customer-obsessed' organisation."

Donoghue, who has 15 years' experience in 'problem-solving and customer-centred change', was most recently head of digital design and user experience at NAB.
