TPT Wealth, the trustee and wealth management arm of Tasmania-based MyState, has appointed Joe Youssef and Trev McCallum to as senior business development managers.

The appointments follow the arrival last month of Alan Logan as the general manager of the financial services firm and come as the company looks to grow funds under management and build its client base in Tasmania and along the eastern seaboard.

Specifically, Youssef will manage TPT Wealth's wholesale division. Before joining TPT Wealth, he ran the money market business at Curve Securities.

He previously held several senior roles including at Sydney Stock Exchange, Bell Potter, Austock, Macquarie Bank, APSEC Funds, and AMP.

Meantime, McCallum who has been appointed as the senior manager for wholesale and intermediary brings more than 20 years of experience in the financial services sector in Hobart and Sydney.

He has worked as a financial adviser and director of Knox Financial and had spent more than 12 years at IOOF across a wide range of financial services roles, including product development, operational management, project management, and account management.

Although the roles are similar, Youssef will mainly focus on providing solutions to charities, foundations, private ancillary funds whereas McCallum will work with financial planners.

Speaking of the new hires, Alan Logan, TPT Wealth general manager, said their extensive experience will help the firm broaden its reach and profile among investors and for-purpose organisations. "These include non-government schools, aged care facilities, catholic archdiocese, and not-for-profits," he said.

"After a comprehensive re-working of products, services, and processes in the last year, TPT Wealth is well-positioned to move ahead with its 2025 growth strategy."
