TCorp portfolio manager joins BTIM

BT Investment Management (BTIM) has announced the appointment of Alan Polley to the position of portfolio manager, effective 6 February 2017.

Polley joins BTIM with 16 years' investment management and consulting experience. In his most recent role as senior manager, model portfolios and risk research at TCorp, he was responsible for the portfolio management of over $40 billion in defined benefit and insurance multi‐asset portfolios as well as developing TCorp's strategic asset allocation processes.

Prior to working at TCorp, Polley held a portfolio manager position at AMP Capital and was an investment consultant at Mercer.

Commenting on his appointment, BTIM's senior portfolio manager, diversified strategies, Stuart Eliot, said: "I am delighted to welcome Alan to the team.
