TCorp appoints financial markets GM

TCorp, the Investment and financial management partner of the New South Wales government, has promoted Rob Kenna to general manager of financial markets.

The division's key activities include raising debt for the state of NSW through issuing bonds both locally and globally, providing loans to the NSW Government public sector, and managing risk on the balance sheet.

"I'm delighted to appoint Rob to the executive team and am confident he will be a great addition, bringing deep expertise and experience across a range of financial markets disciplines," said David Deverall, TCorp's chief executive.

"Rob has strong leadership qualities and is well versed in managing complex stakeholder relationships. The executive team looks forward to working with him and continuing to support the state on its path to economic recovery."

Previously, Kenna was head of funding & Balance Sheet at TCorp.

Before that, he was the managing director of debt markets at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia for eight years.
