Talaria hires operating chief

Talaria Asset Management has appointed Elizabeth Ninness as chief operating officer, hiring from National Australia Bank where she was part of the leadership team.

Ninness replaces Rhys Cahill who is joining Cooper Investors as managing director.

The appointment followed the recruitment of Lance Oliver as head of sales in December 2022.

Based in Talaria's Melbourne office, Ninness will lead the expanding business team and support the strong growth of the Talaria Global Equity Fund.

Before working at NAB, she carried out various operational roles at Digecom Solutions, First Abu Dhabi Bank, National Bank of Abu Dhabi, Macquarie Group and Ord Minnett.

Talaria CEO Jamie Mead says Ms Ninness brings invaluable knowledge and experience to the team.
