SuperConcepts promotes interim chief

SuperConcepts has promoted current chief information officer, Grant Christensen, as its interim chief executive officer. He replaces Lara Bourguignon, who departed at the end of the year.

Announcing the appointment, SuperConcepts chair Stuart Forsyth spoke to Christensen's experience bringing stability to the organisation to start the new year. "Grant is an exceptional internal candidate with a detailed knowledge of the business and the services we provide having fulfilled several executive roles within the SuperConcepts Group since 2006".

Christensen has significant experience in the SMSF industry, having spent more than a decade in management of the SMSF administration business Supercorp. Forsyth said Christensen's relationship with several recently-acquired organisations will help contribute to the combination.

"Our next phase is about having the ability to focus on what we do well, by providing high-quality administration to our clients and having the expertise to keep them safe", said Christensen.

Outgoing CEO Lara Bourguignon welcomed Christensen's appointment. "I think it is really wonderful to have someone with Grant's experience at the helm. It will provide continuity and certainty to our people and clients into the new year."
