GRANT CHRISTENSEN
SuperConcepts - Chief Information Officer
APPOINTMENT
SUPERCONCEPTS
Date: January 2019
Position: Chief Information Officer

SuperConcepts has announced that executive manager of IT, Grant Christensen, has been appointed as the firm's chief information officer, effective 2 January 2019.

In this role, Christensen will focus on network infrastructure for SuperConcepts clients.

His promotion is part of a shuffle at the firm following the decision by chief technology officer, Kurt Groeneveld, to not renew his three-year contract. Groeneveld will be succeeded by current executive manager of software development, Brad Ackermann.

Note: Groeneveld developed SMSF accounting software, SuperMate, at his firm, SuperCorp, which was acquired by AMP in 2015 as part of AMP's SMSF business. In January 2016, AMP SMSF was rebranded to SuperConcepts. Ackermann and Christensen both previously worked for SuperConcepts, with Ackermann collaborating on the prototype for SuperMate.
