Super SA GM departs

Super SA, the $24.4 billion superannuation provider for SA public sector employees, has confirmed the departure of general manager, John Montague, effective December 2017.

Montague, who has over 30 years' experience in super and finance, joined Super SA in May 2014.

He started his career with Westpac in 1986, holding various trading and management positions in Sydney and Melbourne. He was seconded to Northern Territory Treasury Corporation (NTTCorp) in 1994 and was appointed general manager of NTTCorp in November 1996. He was also previously commissioner of superannuation for the Northern Territory Superannuation Office.

At Super SA he has been replaced by Dascia Bennett, who joins from NGS Super and takes on the role of chief executive officer, effective immediately.
