Steve Tucker resigns from Westoz board

Westoz Investment Company (Westoz) has announced the resignation of non-executive director, Steve Tucker, from the board to enable him to continue to focus on his role in developing Prodigy Investment Partners Limited. Tucker is the founder and executive chair of Prodigy, an 80/20 venture with Euroz Limited.

Tucker has 25 years' experience in the financial services industry, most prominently gained through his role as chief executive officer of MLC from 2004 until 2013. As CEO, he had responsibility for MLC, NAB Private Wealth and JB Were. He was also a director on the Financial Services Council board for nine years.

Commenting on Tucker's departure, Westoz chair Jay Hughes: "Steve has provided valuable input and advice to our Board since his appointment in June 2014. The developments at Prodigy are exciting and we will watch with interest as Steve continues to develop this new funds management venture."
