State Street bolsters solutions team

State Street has added john Venardos to its portfolio solutions team in a senior regional role.

Based in Sydney, Venardos is tasked with supporting the firm's growth strategy, which involves expanding its APAC presence across transition management, currency management, execution solutions, and exposure solutions.

He joins from Russell Investment Management, where he oversaw implementation for the Asia Pacific.

Commenting on the appointment, James Woodward, head of portfolio solutions for State Street Global Markets in the Asia Pacific, said: "We are thrilled to welcome John to our team. John has tremendous knowledge and experience in our industry, which will enable us to deepen the focus and resources we bring to our clients."
