Standard Life appoints Investment Director - Institutional Business

Standard Life Investments has appointed Kate Hillyar as investment director - institutional business.

Reporting to Simone Bouch, head of Australasia, Hillyar will work with clients and consultants across Australia and New Zealand to develop new business for the firm. She was previously a director for institutional distribution at NAB Asset Management.

Commenting on Hillyar's appointment, and the appointment of Simon Wu as associate director for wholesale sales, Simone Bouch said: "These appointments signal the next exciting development in the growth story of Standard Life Investments' business in Australasia. Having worked closely with institutional investors across Australia, Kate brings with her well-developed relationships and an extensive knowledge of the industry.
