SSGA appoints BDM from AMP

State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) has confirmed to Industry Moves the appointment of Ivor Kay as a business development manager, effective April 2018.

Based in Brisbane, Kay will work within State Street's active managed funds team.

Prior to joining SSGA, Kay was head of sales for the QLD region at AMP, a role that he left in December 2017. In 2006 he worked at AXA as a BDM and in 2010 he was promoted to state sales manager. Following AXA's merger with AMP in 2011, Kay was appointed to his most recent role.

Commenting on his appointment at SSGA, head of Asia Pacific, James MacNevin, said: "Ivor holds deep relationships with financial advisers across Queensland and has a strong history in executing sales strategy.
