State Street Global Advisors (SSGA), the asset management business of State Street, has announced that its head of Asia Pacific, Lochiel Crafter, will be moving into a new role as head of the Global Institutional Group, with responsibility for SSGA's global institutional distribution, effective immediately.
In this new role, Crafter will be based in the firm's Boston office.
Replacing him as head of Asia Pacific is James MacNevin, currently SSGA's chief operating officer for the region.
Crafter joined SSGA in 2010 as head of investments Asia Pacific and was appointed to his most recent role in 2013. Prior to this, he was CEO of the Australian Reward Investment Alliance.
He is also a member of the Financial Services Council board.
