Longstanding board member Sue Dahn will finish her term with the fund in June after nearly 12 years as a director.

Dahn has been an investment adviser partner and executive director at Pitcher Partners for 24 years.

In addition to being a non-executive director of Spirit Super, she also sits on the board of Breakthrough Victoria and Victorian Traditional Owners Funds.

Dahn is a former director of AIA Australia and ESSS Super.

Spirit Super chair Maria Wilton has paid tribute to her contribution, having served initially on the MTAA Super board and supporting it through the merger with Tasplan.

Her strategic and financial acumen has made her a valued contributor around the Board table and wise counsel to me as chair and to the CEOs and executives of the fund."

"Sue is a passionate advocate of our members. She has made her biggest impact as the chair of our investment committee. Her skills as a financial advisor and experience on Boards, as well as in private practice, have helped Spirit Super achieve strong results over a long period."

In response, Dahn said being on the Spirit Super board has been a professional privilege and a personal pleasure.

"This fund has great ambitions to deliver exceptional member experience and outcomes, and I've been proud to be a part of driving it to use its size to its advantage," she said.

The investments in infrastructure and the regions reflect a values approach."

Dahn noted that the $25 billion Spirit Super had assets of $6 billion when she joined.
