Southwell to depart Pitcher Partners

Pitcher Partners managing partner Rob Southwell is set to depart the organisation later this year.

Southwell joined Pitcher in late 2105 in the Sydney office and has looked after both the practice management group as well as private clients. He previously spent more than 15 years with Moore Stephens as managing director. Moore Stephens and Pitcher Partners combined their organisations in 2015, a merger that Southwell oversaw.

While he's stepping down effective 1 July, a spokesperson for the organisation says that Southwell will continue to be involved with the firm in a strategic advisory and meeting capacity for the next 12 months.

Pitcher has announced that Adam Irwin has been appointed as managing partner following 19 years with the organisation, most recently as chief operating officer in Sydney.
