Sonja Lee joins TCorp as Head of Marketing

Sonja Lee has confirmed to Industry Moves that she has joined TCorp as head of marketing.

In this role, Lee is responsible for developing and implementing an enterprise marketing and external communications strategy. This includes increasing brand and client advocacy and driving business strategy.

Lee previously spent two years as an independent consultant to the investment, superannuation, professional services and not for profit sectors, specialising in sales, marketing and growth strategies. Before this, she spent two and a half years as a senior consultant at Willis Towers Watson - where she was responsible for building the global brand for the Thinking Ahead Institute - and eight years as the Australian marketing director for its predecessor, Towers Watson.

Commenting on her new role, Lee said: "I'm absolutely thrilled to join TCorp. The head of marketing role is a greenfield opportunity; the organisation is undergoing transformational change and it's an exciting time to build TCorp as a leading brand."

She added: "A key aspect of my work will be to help educate key stakeholders including clients, prospects, institutional investors, media and the industry that TCorp is a top 10 Australian investment manager with funds in excess of $100bn of funds under management and that we are also the central borrowing authority for the state of NSW with a balance sheet in excess of $65bn."

Previously, Margaret Davey was marketing manager at TCorp for six years before departing to pursue other opportunities.
